Data Privacy

Privacy and data protection are core to building trust at CarGurus. Our Global Data Privacy Program includes regularly updated policies, a consent portal to uphold data rights under applicable privacy laws like General Data Protection Regulation and California Consumer Privacy Act, and annual privacy training that reflects evolving laws and risks. We maintain transparent privacy notices and provide oversight through our Audit Committee, which reviews our data privacy practices.

Cybersecurity

CarGurus regularly conducts information security risk assessments across its systems, facilities, and assets using industry-standard frameworks. Our Audit Committee monitors compliance and regularly meets with management to discuss risks and response plans related to data privacy, technology, and information security risks and implement risk mitigation strategies through formal policies and controls.

Trust & Safety

We are committed to a safe, transparent marketplace. Our Trust & Safety team enforces policies, moderates content for authenticity, combats fraud (like fake listings and compromised feeds), and upholds data quality to protect platform integrity and user trust.
